This scholarship is offered to Florin High School senior. Students must complete an application and write an autobiography of a minimum 250 word essay, 3.0 GPA and have community service and appreciated in extracurricular activities. Applications are available in the Career Center.

The Nance O’Flaherty Memorial Scholarship

Awarded $1,000

Alpha Kappa Alpa Sorority, Inc. Sigma Delta Omega Chapter

Awarded ranged from $250-$4,000

To qualify for this scholarship a student must currently be a senior in high school; applying to a two-year or four-year college or university in Fall 2019; and minimum GPA of 2.5. Applications are available in the Career Center.

E-waste Scholarship

Awarded $1,000

You must be a high school freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior or current or entering college or graduate school student of any level. You must also be a U.S. citizen or legal resident. Marji Feliz Memorial

May 3, 2019

Awarded $1,000

The scholarship is for a High School Senior at Florin High School; must be entering a 2 or 4 year accredited college in California for Fall 2019; and must be majoring in Environmental Studies & Science, Agricultural, Veterinary and any of the Earth Sciences, and Economics. Sacramento New & Review College Essay Contest

Awarded $500 to $2,000

Seniors graduating in 2019 may submit one entry of a 650-word essay to Collegeessay@newsreview.com with the subject line: “College Essay Contest.” The essay may be submitted as a Word document, PDF attachment or in the body of the email. The NETwork an AT&T Sacramento Chapter Scholarship

Awarded a minimum of $500

This scholarship will be awarded to African American high school seniors who plan on attending an accredited junior college, trade school, or four year university in the 2019-2020 academic year. The purpose of these scholarships is to give African American high school students residing in the region recognition for their academic and civic achievement. B. Davis Scholarship

This scholarship is available to all high school juniors and seniors as well as all students currently registered in any post-secondary institution. The Gordon Stafford Scholarship

Awarded $4,000 annually

The scholarship is open to minority students pursuing a career in Architecture and is intended to help increase representation of minorities in the Architecture profession. To qualify you must have a permanent California residence address, demonstrate minority status, be enrolled as a first-year new or first-year transfer student, pursuing a Bachelor of Architecture Degree or a five-year Master of Architecture program, from an NAAB (National Architectural Accrediting Board)-accredited school or college. NSPS Foundation Trig-Star Scholarship
