Eligible applicants must be a Sacramento County resident. A graduating 2018 high school senior. Entering a two or four year accredited college/university/technical or trade school. Must have a minimum GPA of 2.5. Applications are available in the Career Center.

Ose Family Community Service Award

Awarded $1,000

To be eligible a student must be a senior at a public high school in the Elk Grove, San Juan or Folsom Cordova Unified School Districts. Demonstrate outstanding and sustained commitment to community service to one or more local non-profit organizations in the Sacramento region during their 10th, 11th and 12th grade years of high school. Be accepted and plan to attend an accredited 2-year or 4-year college or university in the year following high school graduation. Have a minimum of 2.5 GPA. Applications are available in the Career Center.

The Florin Historical Society Scholarship

The Nancy O’Flaherty Memorial Fund Scholarship

Scholarship given to one student graduating from Florin High School in 2018 that is considering a teaching career.

Caltrans District 3 Transportation Scholarship

Awarded $1,000

Applicant must be a high school senior within Caltrans District 3 and must be pursuing a career in transportation requiring college instruction or vocational training. Involvement in school extracurricular or community activities. Applications are available in the Career Center.
