Northern California Cherry Blossom Community Service Scholarship

Two winners will each receive $2500


Applicant must be a graduating senior of Japanese American descent at accredited high school with a GPA of 2.5 on a scale of 4.0. Applicant should be actively involved in her or his local community. Qualified applicants must a senior in high school and have a GPA of 3.0 or above. Contestants must be high school seniors that graduates in 2018 that attends school in Sacramento County and surrounding counties. Contestants must be in good academic standing. Black Parallel School Board Scholarship

Awards are best on a comprehensive process.

Areas reviewed by the committee include; Academic Accomplishments, Community Service, References, Personal Essay and Financial Need. The mission of the scholarship is to provide financial assistance to African-American students who are graduates of a Sacramento area high school by the end of the spring term 2018. Rosenwald “Robbie” Robertson Scholarship

The Sacramento Area Black Caucus, Inc. will award students who best demonstrate the standards of academic achievement, leadership, and service to the African American community. Ose Family Community Service Award

To be eligible a student must be a senior at a public high school in the Elk Grove, San Juan or Folsom Cordova Unified School Districts. Demonstrate outstanding and sustained commitment to community service to one or more local non-profit organizations in the Sacramento region during their 10th, 11th and 12th grade years of high school. Be accepted and plan to attend an accredited 2-year or 4-year college or university in the year following high school graduation. Have a minimum of 2.5 GPA.
