Multilingual Learner Program

Our team of teachers are dedicated to supporting all Multilingual Learners develop their acquisition of academic English. We are proud to offer English classes at all levels to meet student needs, as well as classes in the core content areas of Science, History, and Math that support English development and content learning. We believe that every student should engage in curriculum that is relevant to them and supports their development of English acquisition.

BTA Duties

Provide primary language assistance to parents by: 
- Assisting with parent meetings
  • Conferences
  • Student Study Teams & IEP Meetings
  • Extension of Suspension & Expulsion Hearings
  • Home Visits
- Provide written translation services

Multilingual Course Options

Multilingual Course Options

English
Each course is designed to support English language development while furthering the skills of reading comprehension, writing and public speaking
History
Courses are content specific and will also focus on development skills of reading and writing in English
 
 
Math
All students are required to pass Math I with a C or better. For this level course we offer an English Learner cohort.
 
 
Science
All students are required to complete a life science and physical science
